A public API and webhooks for your CRM

Your calls and leads, flowing into the system your firm already runs on.

Most firms already have a system where every client lives, and the call that brings a client in shouldn't have to be retyped into it. Starting today, Receptiva has a public API and webhooks, so your developer, or the consultant who looks after your systems, can send your calls and leads straight into it.

What changed#

An API you control. Your firm's owner creates API keys under Integrations in the dashboard. Each key gets only the permissions you choose, and you can revoke it at any time. With a key, your system can read your calls, transcripts and leads, update a lead's status, and get a call's recording, either by downloading it or as a link that plays for one hour.

Webhooks. Instead of checking for new calls every few minutes, your system can be told the moment something happens:

Every delivery is signed, so your system can confirm it came from Receptiva. If your system is down, we keep trying for about two days. Your owner sets up the address under Integrations, can send a test event to check it works, sees a log of recent deliveries and can resend any of them.

Made for keeping two systems in step.

Why it matters#

Picture a firm whose intake team works out of its own CRM. Before, someone read each call email and typed the new lead in by hand, usually after lunch.

Now the webhook tells the CRM about a new injury lead moments after the caller hangs up, and the CRM fetches the callback number and intake on its own. When the intake team marks it "signed" in the CRM, that status goes back to Receptiva with the CRM's own id, so a later call from the same number can be matched to the same client.

How to turn it on#

Hand the developer docs to whoever looks after your systems; Keep another system in sync walks them through a full setup step by step. The owner creates the key and the webhook address in Integrations; everything else happens on your system's side.

Also today: the calls Avery takes during your free trial are on us, and they don't come out of your first paid month's minutes.
