A text when a new lead's transfer goes unanswered

A missed new lead reaches your phone in seconds, not whenever someone checks email.

When a new injury lead calls, Avery tries to put them through to your team. Most of the time someone answers. When nobody does, the caller is waiting on a callback, and every minute until someone sees it is a minute they could spend calling the next firm. Now your phone tells you right away.

What changed#

When a new lead's call is transferred and nobody picks up, Receptiva texts everyone on your team who has text alerts turned on. The text comes from Receptiva Alerts and says:

The text itself carries no caller details: no name, no number, nothing about the case. Those stay behind your dashboard sign-in. Each number gets one text per call, and your call summary email keeps coming as before.

Texts go only to the people you choose, and only after they've agreed. The first text each person gets confirms they're signed up. They can reply STOP at any time to stop all texts to that number, START to turn them back on, or HELP for help.

Why it matters#

Picture a Saturday afternoon. A woman calls about a crash on the highway that morning; she's been to the emergency room and has no lawyer yet. Avery takes her details and rings the attorney on call, who is at his kid's soccer game and doesn't hear the phone.

Before, the lead sat in an email until someone opened it. Now the attorney on call and the intake attorney both get a text the moment the transfer goes unanswered. The intake attorney taps the link, listens to the first minute of the call and calls her back before she's dialed anyone else.

How to turn it on#

In your dashboard, open Team and edit each person who should get texts:

  1. Tick Text alerts on hot leads.
  2. Tick the consent box to confirm that person has agreed to receive Receptiva Alerts at that mobile number.
  3. Save. Their confirmation text arrives within a minute.

Once a person's texts are on, Send test text on their card sends a quick check to their phone.

Text alerts are for law firms, and they start once your firm has its Receptiva number and an active trial or plan. Until then the Team page tells you what's missing, and you can still record everyone's consent ahead of time.
