Question 1

Will my callers know it's AI?

Accepted Answer

Receptiva answers in your firm's name and tells callers it's an AI assistant — warmly, in two seconds, then gets to work. Callers never hear the name “Receptiva.”

Question 2

Can I hear Receptiva before I sign up?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Call Avery at (833) 442-4321. She answers as Receptiva, takes questions, and will run a short demo of a law-firm intake if you ask. No sign-up needed.

Question 3

What if it can't handle a call?

Accepted Answer

It warm-transfers to your attorney or takes a complete message and emails you immediately. No lead is ever dropped.

Question 4

Can I talk to a person before signing up?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Call Avery at (833) 442-4321: during business hours she can put you through to one of the founders, and after hours she takes a message for them. Or book a 15-minute call at cal.com/receptiva-ai/15min.

Question 5

How fast can we go live?

Accepted Answer

Minutes, not weeks. The self-serve setup takes about five minutes — scan your site, get your number, and configure your intake. Then forward your existing line and you're answering; there's no phone system to replace.

Question 6

Does it really work in Spanish?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's built Spanish-first, runs a full intake in Spanish, and routes Spanish callers to a Spanish-speaking attorney when you have one. Try the EN/ES toggle at the top of this page.

Question 7

Does it work with my case-management software?

Accepted Answer

Today it connects through the REST API and webhooks: a developer, or an AI coding assistant following our sync guide (https://www.receptiva.ai/docs/sync-guide), can copy every call and lead into your case-management system, CRM or spreadsheet. Every call's summary also reaches your team by email, and the Claude and ChatGPT connector answers questions about your calls. Native sync with Clio and Filevine is coming soon.

Question 8

Can I use Receptiva with Claude or ChatGPT?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on every plan and every trial. Connect Receptiva to Claude or ChatGPT and ask in plain language who called or which leads still need a callback, mark a lead contacted or signed, or change your receptionist's hours, team and routing. You confirm every settings change before it goes live, and you can undo it. Call summaries and caller numbers are there from the start; transcripts, recordings and full intake details only after your firm's owner turns on “Full caller data for AI assistants” under Integrations in the dashboard.

Question 9

What does it cost after an introductory offer ends?

Accepted Answer

Every plan has one published monthly price with minutes included — most firms choose Standard ($399/mo, 500 minutes) — and a published $0.99/min only if you go over. When we run an introductory offer, it's on our pricing section with its terms and end date: firms that start before it ends pay the intro price for the months it states, with their plan's full minutes, and after that the plan bills at its normal rate. Month-to-month, change or cancel anytime.

Question 10

What if I go over my plan's minutes during an introductory offer?

Accepted Answer

The same as on any plan — overage bills at $0.99/min above your plan's included minutes. If you're outgrowing your plan, upgrade anytime. Downgrades take effect when the intro months end.
