Ring every attorney at once

Injury leads no longer wait while the chain rings one phone after another.

When a new injury lead calls, every ring that goes unanswered is a chance for that caller to hang up and dial the next firm. Until now, Avery rang your people one after another. Now she can ring all of them together and connect the caller to whoever picks up first.

What changed#

Each routing rule under Hours & routing has a new Ring setting with two choices:

With everyone at once, Avery briefs whoever answers, the same way she does today. The first attorney to say "put them through" is connected to the caller, and the other phones stop ringing. If someone else had already answered and was still hearing the briefing, Avery tells them the caller was picked up and lets them go.

A few details work the way you'd expect:

Why it matters#

Picture a two-partner injury firm. Calls about new accidents ring Partner A first, then Partner B. On a Tuesday morning Partner A is in a deposition with her phone face down. A caller who was just rear-ended listens to it ring, then waits again while Avery moves on to Partner B. By the time anyone answers, the caller has been on hold long enough to start wondering whether to try someone else.

With everyone at once, both partners' phones ring the moment the call qualifies. Partner B, between meetings, says "put them through," and the caller is talking to a lawyer within seconds. Partner A's phone simply stops ringing. Nobody has to decide in advance who is likely to be free.

How to turn it on#

  1. Open your dashboard and go to Hours & routing.
  2. Pick the rule you want, for example new injury cases.
  3. Make sure at least two people are on the rule's list of who rings.
  4. Set Ring to Everyone at once and save.

You can switch any rule back to In order the same way.

If you manage settings through Claude, reconnect the Receptiva connector in Claude once (under Settings, then Connectors) so it picks up the new setting. Refreshing the tools isn't enough.

Coming next#

An attorney who answers a moment after a colleague will be offered the chance to join the call.
