Ring every attorney at once
For time-critical leads, Avery can now ring everyone on a routing rule at the same time. The first person to say 'put them through' takes the call.
Quicker replies, smoother hand-offs, and a better first call during setup.
The first thing a caller judges is whether the voice on the line sounds like a person who is listening. Starting today, Avery runs on a new voice engine: she answers sooner, waits for callers to finish, and sounds more like the receptionist you'd hire.
A new voice engine. Avery's replies come quicker, and she's better at knowing when a caller has finished a thought and when they're only pausing. There is nothing to change on your side.
Transfers announce the hold. Whenever Avery puts a caller through to someone at your firm, she tells them she's connecting them and hold music plays while she reaches your team member. Callers aren't left in silence while she rings your team.
Every call opens in English. Avery now greets every caller in English first, and switches to Spanish for the rest of the call as soon as the caller answers in Spanish.
Calls end cleanly. When a caller hangs up, the call ends right there instead of lingering on the line.
A new last step in setup. The wizard now finishes on an Avery is live screen. It shows your number, suggests what to say when you call ("Hi, I was rear-ended last week and my neck still hurts"), and shows the conversation on screen as it happens. When you hang up, one tap tells us how she did: Sounded great or Something was off, with room for a note. If something was off, we look at that call.
Imagine an older caller phoning an injury firm the morning after a fall in a grocery store. She talks slowly and stops to find the right word. A receptionist who jumps in at every pause makes her feel rushed. One who leaves long gaps makes her wonder if anyone is there.
With the new engine, Avery waits while she gathers her thoughts and answers promptly once she's done. When it's time to reach an attorney, the caller hears that she's being connected and hold music while she waits, not dead air.
There's nothing to turn on. Call your Receptiva number and talk to Avery the way a client would to hear the difference. If you're setting up a new firm, you'll land on the Avery is live screen at the end of setup.
If a call doesn't sound right, use Something was off on the setup screen, or tell us at hello@receptiva.ai.
Update, September 18: the soft office sound behind Avery's voice now carries on through a transfer, so the call sounds the same from hello to hand-off.
Update, October 11: you can hear Avery today on our demo line at (833) 442-4321.
